Finally got my grandfathers service record. I am trying to figure out some more about his service from 1943-45. Looks like he was a Dr Mech for the 35 Tps Comp Coy. Any more info on where he was in Europe or war diaries from that unit?

In one article about him it said he transferred to the Royal Canadian Service Corps. Which sounds closer to what he told my uncle about transporting prisoners and petrol.
Any tips on how to find more about which unit he transferred to?

I ordered his military records at the beginning of November but who knows when I will get that.
