Sgt John W. Hammett, RCAF Tried looking on the Aviation Safety site looking at both the Hurricane and Spitfire loses during the Dunkirk Evacuation, could not find anything about Sgt Hammett. Temujin, Thank You for looking up the info, thought I would ask, most of the pages only stated his parents where in Canada, but one site had U.S.A. next to his name, I could not find anything, so again thought I would ask, Appreciate the help finishing this Warriors Info. Temujin, I cannot believe that there is no info on Sgt Hammett, being shot down twice, with the loss of two aircraft, nothing said about the second time shot down, I can understand somewhat Dunkirk, I imagine it was very hectic, but being rescued in the Channel, thought there should be something on ...
