His service file, as posted on ancestry, is painfully thin on the crash. Nothing, not even the serial of the Spitfire.

What may be of interest are the four or so photographs of his funeral.

His full name was, apparently, Robert Reno Cameron.

Born Flambeau, Wisconsin 5 June 1910. Former farm hand and postal clerk.

Paul Thomas Riggs filed a claim with the Canadian government for POW compensation in 1953.

He received a 2nd payment in 1959.

Unfortunately, that list of 379 leaves much to be desired. Over a third of the names (133) were not American citizens but British, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, German, Russian, Polish, Czech etc who had immigrated to the US but not taken out US citizenship.
