Re: Flying Officer Richard Alanson Bendwig, U.S.A.

Based on documents here, https://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/remembrance/memorials/canadian-virtual-war-memorial/detail/2408986 Millard Meyer Liebeck was one of three brothers, one of his brothers, Kenneth Liebeck was also killed in action. Though it seems the third brother was likely Wilber Liebeck 1913...

Re: Cpl William Haslett

Great work, as always, Temujin. So it looks as if he was not with No. 14 Field Ambulance for D-Day and their time in France (so disregard those accounts previously posted). He was with that unit earlier in 1944 and then transferred to Canadian Army Service Corps Reinforcement Unit (C.A.S.C.R.U.) and...

Re: Worthy Park House, Winchester, Hampshire, England

Wow! Top notch work Temujin! I've been otherwise occupied today but I did reach out to a historian, Jeffrey M. Leatherwood, Ph.D., who's written a book on the origins of the U.S. Ordnance Bomb Disposal services to see if he has anything in his records relating to these squads or Worthy Park House. h...

I have not had any luck myself finding much detail on Worthy Par...
