Hurricane V6749. Forced-landed near Cookham during routine patrol 12.10p.m. Cause not stated. Flying Officer R.W. Norris unhurt. Aircraft damaged but repairable.

Hurricane P3068. Returned to base with severe damage to tail unit following an attack on Do215s and Bf110s over Maidstone area 2.30p.m. Pilot Officer E.W.B. Beardmore unhurt. Aircraft damaged but repairable.
