Greetings,
Looking for info on John Rae Snelgrove, R/92432, RCAF, I have him in flight training with No. 4 SFTS sometime after getting his wings he transferred to USAAF, he entered from Vancouver, B.C., Canada, assigned to USAAF 8th Air Service Group, HQ, F/O John R. Snelgrove was a passenger on B-24, 42-40814, assigned to the 320th Bomb Squadron, aircraft took off from Port Moresby bound for Brisbane on July 19, 1944, after take-off the aircraft was never heard from again, with no radio contact, the aircraft is listed as missing with all crew members and passengers.
If anyone has any more info on this Warrior, I would be appreciative !
