Thank You for the info Temujin, not sure about his WW II stuff, the Saskatchewan Legion Magazine said he was in WW I, which I found info on, and it said he was in WW II as well was captured by the Japanese and was made a guest for 3 1/2 years, but I cannot find anything about that, maybe it was a mistake, and the person doing the write up, got it wrong !
Hope all is well
Cheers
George

George I found this. He was a POW (civilian) of the Japanese. He worked for the Boyle Company in Singapore as mentioned in his obit

Thank You Temujin, I was starting to think I was losing it a bit, I knew I saw that he became a POW, but I was wondering Why and How, and you help fill in the gaps and the questions. So Actually, he was RFC in WW I, got out, and as a civilian, he became a POW.
Cheers
George
