Greetings everyone, I know this is going to be a hard one, but figured I would give it a go. I am trying to find info on P/O Raymond Town, RAAF, he was Navigator for 1st Lt. Robert Schalit, flying with RAF No. 570 Squadron, 1st Lt. Schalit was originally in the Royal Air Force, but when the U.S. joined in WW II, he transferred to USAAF November 1943, but stayed with the squadron until after D-Day, when he transferred to a USAAF Squadron, he was overjoyed when he was told that his Navigator could go with him to the USAAF Squadron.

My probllem is that I can not find any info on the Navigator, P/O/ Ramond Town, RAAF, Any help would truly be appreciated !

R.A.F., No. 570 Squadron, Armstrong Whitworth A.W.41"Albemarle"

Pilot: 1st Lt. Robert "Tex" Schalit, RAF/USAAF, Duncan, Oklahoma, U.S.A.
Nav: P/O Raymond Town, RAAF

Cheers

George

That is so awesome Temujin, Thank You ! I could not find anything on P/O Town, except what was written along with his pilot, 1st Lt. Schalit.
