WWII Service Records - Gordon Patrick Hurley
I am writing on behalf of a friend who is interested in finding out about her Dad's service in WWII. He served with the Cape Breton Highlanders of Canada. She knows that he trained in London before being sent to Italy where he served with the Canadian Army there. My friend would have joined up in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton Island, Canada. We do not have his service number and would appreciate any information that you could provide. Thank you.

Found him in the Dec 1943 War Dairies. This also gives you his service number

Hi Temujin. Yes!! This is him. I've forwarded a note to my friend, suggesting she join the site. I know she'll be thrilled. Anything you can come up with will be great. I believe she is interested in submitting a request to LAC for his service records. As always, thank you SO much.
