Post by georgetanksherman » Fri Aug 14, 2020 12:02 am

Trying to find out, if possible crew positions for Lockheed Hudson V9195, lost on October 10, 1944.

Aircraft took off from RAF Skitten, Caithness, Scotland on a Recipie mission, aircraft had engine problems in flight and lost altitude and ditched 15 miles north west of Yell, Shetland Islands with the loss of all crew members.

Crew:
F/O R.W. Akey, J/19916, RCAF, Bellville, Ontario, Canada
F/O T.N. McNulty, J/19917, RCAF, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
P/O J. Blair, J/85915, RCAF, Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Lt. W.S. Helms, 0-886108, USAAF, Unknown, Alabama, U.S.A.

Any and all help would be truly appreciated
