I am a UK based researcher currently working on a project relating to Canadian Army training in Britain, and I am looking to obtain copies of documents held at Library and Archives Canada in Ottawa.
As this is a research project on a budget, I want to keep my costs to a minimum. I have ready access to the UK National Archives and extensive experience using their collections, among many other archives in the UK. I was wounding if there is anyone in a similar position to me located near LAC (and who is interested in files at TNA) would be interested in a file exchange? I.e. I will copy a file at TNA for free in return for a copy of a file at LAC, reducing expenses for both parties.
The documents I am interested in are largely RG24 registered files and Army Numerical series negatives.
