Lt. Charles Frederick Casey MC 106128

Post by PoppyHomewood » Mon Oct 14, 2024 11:48 am

A friend is wondering why his grandfather Lt. Charles Frederick Casey MC 106128, who was killed on 9-15-1916, was awarded the Military Cross. He has his medal but no history on it. Thank you.

If you go to this file, and down to the 1st Canadian Mounted Rifles, you can see all the files that LAC has on this, and possible more information is available in “Honours and Awards” file. This can be seen at LAC, or hire a private researcher to look for you
