Thank you for this great document - researching the 16th and my great uncle who was their first and only KIA on D-day D15141 Paul Barrette.
Anyone with anecdote about my unlce, that day on how he died , his platoon and tasks would be appreciated. Found nothing in War Diaries and orders.

I’ll see what I can find, and I’ll post any follow up information on the separate thread I started (split it from the original thread) so we keep all the information together.
Cheers

Hello Barry,
Hope you are doing well !
Do you have an other the NOMINAL ROLL during the war for the 16th field coy ? at the end of the war maybe ?
Moreover, do you have testimonies from 3rd CID RCE Members ? i have not the access for this part on the BAC LAC.
Thanks in advance.
Have a nice day.

Hello Barry,
thanks a lot for your confirmation. I have already checked this list in the war diary of May 1945.
I reference in my database all names of all 16th field coy RCE War diaries available in the BAC-LAC and visible in the nominal roll of 18 june 1941.
I referenced 798 names and 538 id numbers. So 67,4% of the names are attached to an ID number. All of these names are all the canadian soldiers of all ranks who passed by the 16th field coy during the war. Maybe there are more names but as i have no other document to certify it, I can't add it for the moment in my list...
I will do the same referencement for the 6th, 18th field coy and 3rd field park coy.
See you later.
