While researching Americans who joined the RCAF back in the 40's, I came across Flt Lt Harold H. Hessenflow, C/2639 as an Instructor for RCAF No. 2
B & G.S., I guess he went his whole time in the RCAF. This warrior passed January 31, 1975 and is buried in Maxwell, Nebraska, May he always be Remembered !

He was Gazzetted on August 14, 1945, for his service

I also found a page that stated he was with the "12 AID", does anyone have any idea what that is ? Appreciate and education on this !

Disregard, I found out what it stands for

A.I.D. = Aeronautical Inspection District

AID Inspectors School, Toronto May1940 - March 1941

No. 12 Aeronautical Inspection District, Toronto March 1938 - Sept. 1946

George, I found his OBIT on line……this man had a very varied and interesting career as a pilot

I had the last page you posted, and small bits and pieces of his history, but it was the first time I came across someone assigned to No. 12 AID, did not know what that was, thought it was a misprint until finally coming across it.
