Greetings All,
Seeing if I can get a bit of info on Kenneth Lee Hornbeck, from St. Louis, Missouri, joined the RCAF, was assigned to an S.F.T.S. in Manitoba to get his wings, but at the time there were 5 S.F.T.S.'s around Manitoba, so not sure which one he was assigned to. Somewhere along the way he transferred to the USAAF, promoted to Captain, in the Pacific flying B-29's with the 62nd Bomb Squadron, 39th Bomb Group
Appreciate any help if there is more info out there on him.
Cheers, and Happy New Year !
George

Looking George. From the information below he was Stationed at RCAF Station Rivers, Manitoba. It looks like he had one of the “original” service numbers, which started with a “C”……..so his service number was C4578

Wow, that was quick Temujin, Thanks
I am taking from the No. C/4578 that he was an instructor, and being assigned at RCAF Station Rivers, Manitoba, he was with the No. 1 Air Navigation School.
Gives me a direction to look further.
Cheers
